Get ready for an unforgettable leadership experience! This year’s Ohio conference for high school freshman girls (9th grade) in Erie, Huron, and Ottawa Counties will feature interactive keynote sessions, community and business leaders, and more. The conference is FREE to all participants. YWL teaches important skills needed to be successful in the workforce and ways to develop confidence and leadership potential.

Our keynote presenter this year will be #1 Coach for Young Women Julie Carrier. Julie is a bestselling author, coach, speaker, and trusted authority on leadership development and confidence for women, young women and girls. This Emmy-nominee has also been seen in millions of homes on national TV as a young women’s confidence and success coach for MTV’s #1 hit positive show, MADE. Julie is also the author of the award-winning book, BeYOUtiful, and is a #1 National Bestselling Author of Girls Lead.
As the CEO of Girls Lead Worldwide, Julie is leading a movement to “empower those who empower girls and empower girls to empower each other.” This former Senior Management Consultant in Leadership Development for the Pentagon, specializes in neuroscience-based leadership education and mindset science. She now supports the world’s leading girl-serving organizations and girls’ schools through innovative and neuroscience-based leadership keynotes, seminars, curricula, and best-practice program consulting to facilitate transformational learning in a short time. She also serves on the Advisory Board for the United Nations Foundation’s global girls leadership development program, Girl Up and is a Fellow at the Institute of Coaching at Harvard Medical School.

• Registration is first-come, first-served and limited. We encourage students to register themselves individually as we ask the students questions about their own personal experiences and feelings related to leadership during their registration process.
• Chaperones please register yourself as well. Our staff will provide registration lists to teachers and chaperones before the event, so you know which students from your school or organization have registered.
• Boxed lunches will be provided. If you have food allergies or sensitivities, please bring your own lunch.
• All attendees must have a signed Liability Waiver to attend the event. No one will be permitted to attend the event without a signed waiver.
